chartreuse

Some yarn to celebrate spring, or the beginning of gin and tonic season. After the hardest Maine winter in over 100 years I’m looking forward to lazy salade de pommes de terre dinners in the yard.

There’s a cocktail themed S/KAL from some special colorways going on in the Northbound Knitting Ravelry group–here’s my handspun:

More Gin Please on Cheviot
. I made a worsted spun, sportweight 3 ply spun from narrow strips of top stripped into random widths. It’s destined to become socks–I always gravitate toward sock knitting in the spring.

What do you love about springtime?

  1. Lovely! That photo set is great. I have just learned to spin, so I didn’t crack open my more gin please fibre yet, but I love what you’ve done.
